On Sunday we were at Currie Wood, just south of Edinburgh. It was a favourite Dirties activity of tree-ringing for preventing further growth and spread of unwanted tree species. Here is a short limerick from Cameron:
“There was a strange group named dirties
With a weird fixation for trees
We went out to currie
In rather a hurry
And the trees flew away with the bees”
