(The friends of figgate park, who had asked us along again to improve the biodiversity of the park)

We mattock-ed,

(Grass and brambles along a fence to make room for an “edible hedgerow”)

We raked,

We dug,

We planted,

(Bulbs to improve new plants for wildlife and aesthetics)

We lunched,

We climbed,

We chatted,

(Everyone needs a break)

We dug,

We re-bussed,
