Like saws and fun? Hate gorse and uncontrolled fire? On this first project, we will be attacking gorse in Holyrood Park in order to help create firebreaks, stopping the spread of fire on nights like Bonfire Night. We are a society for anyone who enjoys protecting the environment, using tools, getting a bit mucky, or who just has a love for the great outdoors.
So put on your sturdy footwear, grab your waterproofs, and fill your water bottle (we’ll bring the rest) and join us for an outdoors day of gorse-bashing fun.
